The Accountant 2 shot mostly on location, with one sound stage of built sets. I assisted in the survey, prep, and gaffing of half of the set list, including: Harbor Academy, Berlin Hotel, Downtown Motel, The Hospital, Costa Rica and all of Juarez.
HARBOR ACADEMY
This was a pretty impressive, clearing and renovation of an existing location. Harbor Academy was the main set for the majority our autistic cast. Each actor came in early to personalize the dressing or their desks and bedrooms. This was fun collaborative experience to be a part of.
BERLIN
The highlight of this set is the gorgeous plug door in the hall of the Cal Edison building in downtown Los Angeles.
Fun Fact: My bakery Brötli has a cameo on the dessert box.
EMPIRE HOTEL
We shot in several rooms of the Biltmore Hotel, including the ballroom, kitchen and the bowl. We built elaborate wall plugs and the most complicated element was matching the vintage wallpaper without access to a sample.
HONKEY TONK
Here we built a new facade on an existing location to accommodate our stunt work. Inside we made some renovations,  but mostly was a set dec overhaul.
JUAREZ
Juarez was one of the largest projects of this film. Majority of which and a rehaul of the Bermite Facility, in Santa Clarita.
